Pesto-Alfredo Cream Sauce

This recipe reminds me of the sauce they use in Maggiano's four cheese ravioli. I love it and I hope you do too (:

Pesto-Alfredo Cream Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minched

  • 3 tablespoons prepared basil pesto sauce

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • This makes a good amount of sauce for 4 people. So you may want to cut it in half if its just 2 or less.

In a sauce pan, heat up the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and pesto and saute for about a minute. Pour in the heavy cream, and bring a boil, while stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes then add the parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese melts.
There you go! Put this over some pasta or ravioli and maybe add some marinara sauce to create a nice pink sauce. Enjoy!
